Eyewear worth looking at.

An independent boutique at Yonge & Eglinton, carefully curating designer frames and fitting precise prescription lenses since 1968. Eye exams arranged, repairs done on the spot — and a fitting that actually fits.

Half a century at Yonge & Eglinton.

Optika opened its doors in 1968 and has stayed put ever since — first on the corner, now tucked into the Yonge Eglinton Centre, the same family business midtown has trusted for generations of spectacles.

“A frame is a face. We take our time with it.”

We're independent, which means our walls aren't dictated by a chain's buyer. We choose every frame ourselves, grind lenses to the millimetre, and fit them in person — the unhurried way an optician is supposed to.
